Can we talk?

As I sit and pen my thoughts this morning, I am reminded of Jesus’s experience in the Garden of Gethsemane.  It was at that place He had to make one of the toughest decisions in His life. Should He go forward to the cross, knowing that
this was what He was destined to do? Or should He just walk away from it all because of the pain He knew was ahead.

Many of you find yourself right here today. You are at a place of transition. You are facing a crossroad and really finding it hard to hear clearly.  There are decisions that must be made but everything seems out of place right now.  You
are frustrated and afraid of what is too come. I want to encourage you not to give up.

I challenge you to pause and listen to your life for a moment. Has God ever turned His back on you?  Hasn’t He always provided the direction and the guidance you needed? I had to come to a place of surrendering my will to God during times
like these, just as Jesus did in the garden. I have found that what I want and what God wants are not always the same.  During my walk with God, I have even encountered roadblocks and detours that took me totally in a different direction.  It was a reminder
to me that God knows what is best. He sees what I can’t see.

It is at times like these we must not forget that He is just waiting for us to come to Him for instructions. He longs to talk to us, if we would only pause and come to Him as it says here in
Jeremiah 33:3 (Amp) Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).
Be of good courage today knowing that God is not surprised by anything that you are facing right now. In fact, He is with You to strengthen, settle, and establish you in the direction that He has for you to go.

Let me pray for you right now,

Father I thank you for my brothers and sisters reading this post right now. I pray that they will not lose hope in this season of their lives. Teach them to recognize Your voice, Your direction, and most of all the guidance and the instructions
You give to us daily. I pray that You will open the eyes of their understanding. Help them to see what You see Lord. Your Word tells us in Psalm 32:8 that You instruct us with Your eyes upon us. May we learn to trust Your direction and Your plans for our very
lives. In Jesus name, Amen

Take action: Take a moment and journal your disappointments to God and ask Him to share His perspective on your situation.

Grace and Peace to you,

Its 2016, Now What?

Welcome to the New Year.

What will you do differently this year?

Will this year be another year of excuses or results for you?

Will you allow fear to hold you captive or will you go forward in faith?

The decision is all yours!

Place fear on the backburner and DO LIFE BIG in 2016.

You are well able to accomplish what God has placed you here to do.

Passionately pursue your purpose in 2016.

Father, thank you for allowing us to see this New Year. We are so grateful for your gift of life, health and strength. Remind us that you have already given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. You have already equipped us to live a life of victory right now. I pray for boldness to begin to arise in each of us today as we passionately run forward to accomplish what You have called us to. May we never lose sight of Your grace in our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.

May this year be a year of God’s abundant peace for you.

Stay The Course

stay course

You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You’re blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That’s right—you don’t go off on your own; you walk straight along the road he set. You, God, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it. Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set; Then I’d never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel. I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways. I’m going to do what you tell me to do; don’t ever walk off and leave me. Psalm 119:1-8 MSG

Father, thank you for guiding us with your eyes upon us; even in the uncertainties of our journey may we stay focused on the path you have already positioned us on. Thank you for helping us to avoid the distractions that calls out to us along the way. May we keep our full attention on you. In Jesus ‘name Amen.

Grace and Peace,

Keep Your Eyes Open..

Proverbs 16:3 (AMP), Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Eyes (2)

This has become one of my go-to-scriptures when I am feeling overwhelmed. It helps me to refocus so that I can see that I am getting in my own way again.

I encourage you today to be content in God’s grace upon your life. Be content in knowing that all you have to do is have faith in Him to help you overcome every challenge you will ever face. Be content in being submitted to His will and not your own. Most of all, be content in gaining victory through His perfection. He is the source of our strength. He is able to refresh us when our strength is gone.

Father, we take so much pride in doing what we know is best. We get lost in our own ability and neglect the help you have freely given. Teach us to value your grace in our everyday life. Teach us to recognize the grace you have given us to accomplish what you have called us to. I pray that every day we will commit our works to you so that you will establish our thoughts. May our eyes be open to the countless rewards that await us when we do it your way and not our own. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Take Rest..

God has not overlooked you.

He is still at work making you and me into the vessels He desires us to be. Release the weight of the vision to Him, the anxiety and the “how tos” of accomplishing it all.

Trust Him to lead you to His expected end.

Take rest in Him as you await His perfect timing.

Father, teach us how to come to you and rest today. Your thoughts towards us are good and not evil. We can trust our lives, our visions, our dreams to you for safe keeping. Everything that we have committed to your hands you are able to uphold and bring it to full fruition. May we come to you and lay every burden down today and rest in your unfailing love.

Grace and Peace,

It Is Time To Move Forward

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. Isaiah 41:10 (Amplified Bible)

fear of the unknown

Inquire of the Lord before making new steps.

Only He knows what is best for you and what will bring you to your destined end.  The time is now.  Break free today of fear and doubt! His power, His grace is available to you.

Thank you Lord for seeing our end from our beginning. Not only do You know what is before us,  You guide us with your eyes upon us.  May we take comfort in knowing Your thoughts towards us. In Jesus name, Amen

Obedience Is Key

“If you love me, obey me; John 14:15 (TLB)

It is essential that we consult and obey God in this season of our lives. Our next steps hinge upon His Word, His instructions.  Too often, we fail to consult God with our plans. When we do consult Him we fail at following His instructions totally.

Is this you? Take a moment to do a checkup on your obedience level today.

I will leave you with this quote:  Hearing God without obeying God leaves you in the same state you were in before God ever spoke.

Lord, I pray that you will work in us the will and the pleasure to obey you and take you at your word. May we take no second thoughts when it comes to obeying you fully. In Jesus name Amen

Blessings to you,
