Hold on a little while longer

I just wanted to take a moment to encourage your hearts on today. Many of you have been praying.
Many of you have been hearing from God. Many of you have been moving actively on what God’s called you to do but you’re still not seeing anything come to pass yet.
You’re still not seeing the fruit of your labor and I want to encourage your hearts on today not to give up.

Don’t faint!

Don’t quit!

Keep pushing!

Keep fighting!

Keep praying!

Keep believing because in the end it will speak. The vision is for an appointed time.

God says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that “He makes all things beautiful and it’s time.” So on today I want to encourage your hearts to keep pushing. Pray until something happens!
That’s right pray until something happens.  It’s almost as if you’re a woman who is in labor. Right now, the doctors are saying that the head is crowning. He can see the head coming but you can’t quit now, that baby won’t push itself
out.  You have to be active in pushing that baby out. It’s even the same in our spiritual walk. It’s even the same in our natural lives, we may not see things happen immediately but we have to put some action to it. We have to also put
some prayer to it.

Even as Elijah did in I Kings 18:41– 44, you may have to pray 7 times to see the promise manifest. Again, if you are not seeing anything yet keep pushing don’t give up.
The will of God is not always automatic in our lives. We have to pray and act until we see God bring change.
You are on the verge of a breakthrough. You’re right there!
Don’t stop now. The vision is for an appointed time and it will speak.
All you have to do is hold on just a little while longer.

Father I thank you now for your people.
I thank You for what you’re doing in their lives. I thank You Father God for bringing them to a place of breakthrough, to a place of freedom.
I thank You for bringing them to a place of answered prayers. Thank You that they will see what you have been saying come to pass in their everyday life Lord. I give you praise for infusing them with inner strength right now God so that they may hold
on even through the process. And father thank You for loving your people the way you do. Thank You for always being there; for always showing Yourself faithful on our behalf.
For You never leave us, You never forsake us. Thank You for all that You’re doing right now. In Jesus name Amen.

Grace and Peace,

As I sat this morning, quietly listening to the waves crash upon the shore, I heard the Holy Spirit say “write where you are.”  So here goes, my raw thoughts from this morning…

It’s morning, as I sit and watch the waves crash upon the shore, I can’t help but reflect on Your goodness. How Your love surrounds us and overshadows us, even when we fail to take notice. How Your blood washed over our dirty, sin filled souls. You cleansed us from all of our guilt and iniquity.

It is times like these I want to just jump in and get wet; just to bask in Your presence until all my fears are gone. I want to dive into the sea of Your love and just be at peace, be at rest.

Life sometimes takes us by surprise, but You are always constant, just like the waves of the sea. You are always present. Your love never fades away. Your love is so refreshing, so breathtaking, it’s so hard to imagine life without it, life without You.

The stillness of this moment makes life so worth living. The birds fly without a care in the world. The sea roars in contentment, in worship, settled into what You created it to be. The sun fades away in the faint distance as the clouds give way to rain.

My heart, so heavy, so free at the same time because only You know how to wash away my pain. You took away what I once held so dear; my worries, my doubts, all my concerns and washed them all away. You reminded me of Your great love for me and how you will always stay.

You are always there, so constant, so consistent like the roaring sea. Why should I fear? Why should I be discouraged? You hold me all so near. You wrap me in the sea of Your love, now I have no fears.

I wade in a little bit deeper just to experience what I have been missing. Fear has kept me at arm’s length, never fully experiencing life’s fullness. Never fully launching out into the deep; the depths of Your love will never harm me.

So today, I give myself freely to You, Your love, Your touch; desiring Your healing Hand to restore every broken part of me. Every tear, every pain, every heartache I have contained, cast it into the sea of forgetfulness right now, I must. Longing to bask fully in who You are, in Your love so true. The sea of Your love has captured me. It stills my soul. It reminds me of Your great love; Your Son, Jesus You sent from above.

I’ll hold on to Your hand as You lead me to new depths in You; never forgetting You are with me, every step. You promised to not leave me, abandon me You won’t. It is the sea of Your love that holds me so close. So near I can taste You yet so far, I pant after You, not wanting to let go. You won’t leave me, no. You won’t ever let me go.

I sit and I watch in awe, in wonder at the works of Your hands. It’s so majestic, yet so refreshing all in the same breath. Your power so quaint yet well-defined with each wave. You have taken me captive. I can’t seem to pull away. So, I will just sit and be overtaken by Your great love. I’m here Lord, I’m here to stay.

Take Rest..

God has not overlooked you.

He is still at work making you and me into the vessels He desires us to be. Release the weight of the vision to Him, the anxiety and the “how tos” of accomplishing it all.

Trust Him to lead you to His expected end.

Take rest in Him as you await His perfect timing.

Father, teach us how to come to you and rest today. Your thoughts towards us are good and not evil. We can trust our lives, our visions, our dreams to you for safe keeping. Everything that we have committed to your hands you are able to uphold and bring it to full fruition. May we come to you and lay every burden down today and rest in your unfailing love.

Grace and Peace,
