The Choice Is Yours…

Today I choose to be peaceful instead of frustrated.

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]John 14:27 (AMP)

Today I choose to be in control of my actions instead of trying to control others.

He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.  Proverbs 25:28 (AMP)

Today I choose to walk in faith and not fear.

For we live by believing and not by seeing. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT)

Today I choose to forgive freely and not hold on to offenses.

For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 (AMP)

Today I choose love over hate.

If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. 1 John 4:20 (AMP)

Today I choose to see the best in others rather than focusing on their faults.

For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart Samuel 16:7b(AMP)

And most of all, today I choose to pray rather than worry.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

Will you join me?
