Don’t settle now

Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever. 1 Peter 5:10 ERV

You can’t give up now; you have come too far. The fight you are in right now is to help strengthen, establish and shape you for where you are going. You may not realize it but someone in your circle has been inspired by the fight that is in you.  If you cave now, you will be selling yourself short.  You are better than that.

Take a moment and consider who will be lacking because of what you did not finish?  In this life we often focus on ourselves when we are going through fiery circumstances. We lose sight of the fact that God has purpose in our pain. He desires to use our lives as a trophy of His grace.

ust as He told Paul in 2nd Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, my strength  is made perfect in your times of weakness.  God is aware of the struggles you face. He is right there in the midst of it holding you up with His righteous right hand. He is there to help comfort your pain in the midnight hour. He is there to capture your tears in a bottle.  The challenge for us is to be able to see the glimpse of hope in the midst of the darkness we may be facing.

My challenge to you today is to take a moment and reflect on the grace of God in your life. Sometimes the toughest challenges reveal the greatest strength.  Don’t walk away in the midst of the battle; you have what it takes to see it through.  It starts with believing in yourself and your own ability to become who God has created you to be.

Lord, all too often I struggle with staying consistent in the midst of challenges. Here I am today, committing my works to your hands. I ask that You would come along side of me and help me  to continue on even when times are hard. I ask that You would give me the grace and the strength needed to keep fighting and pushing until I see the reward You have for me. Infuse me with inner strength I pray. It is my desire to please you in all that I do. In Jesus’s name, Amen
